Malware can be written for every OS, so yes you will need protection.

Hi Eddy,

Thank you for your respond and long time not exist in this forum.

How are you doing?

Actually, i found in some blogs which discuss about anti-virus to protect iOS and got some recommendation such as virus barrier, trend micro & avira. Those antivirus that seem recommended, but to be frank i am still curious which one have a good protection since avast doesn't have anti-virus for iOS recently.

Every system can be compromised ;) There are also external threats to be addressed. But generally speaking, iOS is safer than other popular platforms.

There will be an announcement on http://www.mobileworldcongress.com (http://www.mobileworldcongress.com) in Barcelona next week and more apps are coming this year. I cannot reveal more right now...

Good morning,
as iOS is quite safe (if you don't have it jailbroken), Wi-Fi's are not. That's why we are currently focusing on securing the communication and protecting users' data. That means scanning Wi-Fi routers for vulnerabilities and providing secure VPN connection.

Yes, you could have revealed more but you didn't/where not allowed to ;D

Anyway,
fact is that every device (especially the ones that connect to other devices and such) need to be protected.
Protection is not just about the OS, but also about applications, data transfer (connection) and such.

Do you need locks on the doors/windows in your house?
No you don't, but unfortunately there are people who don't respect your properties. >:(
Better safe than sorry  ;)
