Title: Website false alarm
Post by: Bits.Media on May 13, 2020, 12:06:56 AM
Hello.
Avast defines the URL https://bits.media/exchanger/ as a phishing site. In fact, this service is exchange monitoring exchange and is not phishing.
I ask you to check it and change the status of our site to safe.

We will also be grateful for indicating the source, where did you get the information that https://bits.media/exchanger/ is supposedly phishing.

You can try the -  Reporting Possible False Positive File or Website - https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php (https://www.avast.com/false-positive-file-form.php)

Nothing much found here - https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/bits.media - but there are some points that you might consider, I don't know if these could be the reason or not.

Strange that nothing being detected (by avast) in the main domain home page.

Thanks!

I guess these are abuses from scammers or competitors. Scammers often abuse such services because there are real reviews from users. This makes it difficult to cheat. The rest of the site does not interest them. Only the monitoring section with reviews.

I think that Avast could take information from another source like a http://phishtank.org/ (this is not a phishtank, I checked). Because Trend Micro antivirus also defines this URL as phishing. But I can not find this source(

Our virus specialists have now cleared its reputation in our database.

With URLs this change should be instant, but it might take up to 24 hours with files.
