Greetings All;

How do I setup the Home edition of Avast to automatically delete infected emails and attachments without my intervention each time?

Thanks

Enable Silent Mode for email scanning and select NO as option.
This will automatically move infected attachement from email into avast! Chest.

Does it work?
Well, I thought that reading previous posts of this forum, the automatic action for the email viruses was a feature of the Professional version... Anyway, this is not what seems to be written in the help files...

Can anybody from Alwil confirm this behavior?  ::)

I'm not from Alwil, but I can confirm it. I use it with Outlook 2k3...

Silent (NO) is the same as Move to Chest. Its also available in Home Edition,but its not so configurable as On-Virus commands in Pro Edition where you have AND & IF FAILED commands with multiple fast script like setup.

Useful for Internet Mail module so you dont have to click hundreds of buttons if there is outbreak like MyDoom was...
