Instead of having to put a file in quarantine and submitting from there, there should be a button on the avast menu screen that says ''Submitt Files to Avast''. This would make it easier to send files to the avast team.
-
I'm not entirely sure what it is that you want to submit, an undetected malware or a possible FP ?
The submission process has been greatly improved from what it was previously. What menu are you talking about ?
The alert process allows for the submission of detected files at the time of detection.

You could also send it in an email to virus(at)avast(dot)com
include either "possible malware" or "possible false positive" in the subject line
zip the file in a password protected archive and attach it, informing the recipient of the password in the email body
also include any other info related to the file (reasons etc. )

- Please start a New Topic of your own as this is unrelated to the original subject (hijacking) and will just confuse the topic and we will try to help.
- Go to this link, http://forum.avast.com/index.php (http://forum.avast.com/index.php), scroll down to the Viruses and Worms forum and click it, click the New Topic button at the top of the list and post there.
