Hi everyone on Avast Forum!

Ever since I installed Avast free (5.0.594) on my computer I can't sync my iPhone with iTunes.
I scanned a couple of forums and found out that Avast might actually block syncing operation with iTunes.
So I inactivated Avast and viola! iTunes syncs with my iPhone.

Now the questions I have is first: Why is that?
The second question is: What part of Avast free is blocking syncing operations?

I have tried to inactivate each protection it gives but no single one does the trick but when everything is inactivated it works perfectly.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro - 64 and have iTunes 9.2.1
