2nd Log!

You could start by getting rid of of yahoo messenger, in one of your other post's you say that you use  windows live. You can also delet the ask toolbar which was probably downloaded with your foxit pdf program, then go to your start up's in ccleaner and disable igfxtray.exe and igfxpers.exe and nero and your sony vaio camera utility as these are not needed at start up and will automaticly start when you use them.

I uninstalled Ask Tool bar & disabled igfxpers.exe, igfxtray.exe & the VSU/Sony visual communication utility from start up.

What Kind of scanning full besides Avast & MBAM would you recommend to know that the machine is clean?

Regards!

What you already have should be fine, maybe superantispyware if you really want but i see no need because the two that you are running are excellent programs. You can also go right through your start ups and turn of everything that you dont want to start up automaticly( bleeping computer/ start up's ) is a good site to double check what is safe to turn off.

Thanks craigb for posting your expert views...I am going to perform Full scan & Boot time with MBAM & Avast....Uploaded the suspicions file to Virus Total..it’s clean..than shall perform a CHKDSK...& lastly Drive Evidence remover using Revo..that helps clean a lot of crap on the drive & makes the machine more responsive.

Regards!

This machine at times is a bit draggin cause coz it doesn’t have a video card, despite that I try to maintain it using PD, CC, tweaking XP....memory 2GB for XP isn’t that bad...checked with Agics for Hash & System scan all look good...maybe I need to adjust the page file size?

Regards!

Best Regards!

If you are not familiar with analyzing HJT & Agics System scans, you should not do it alone as you could seriously damage the OS.

If you want to post them here, I will analyze them for you.

If the HJT logs are the same as above, I can use those. Are they?

Hi there CharleyO,

Sorry to be bothering you again.

I remember some time back you had a look at the Agics System Scan for XP MCE & after reviewing you suggested to shut down some unneeded processes that made a noticeable amount in performance.

Can that be done with Vista 32 bit, after having a look at its Agics System Scan?

Thanks & Regards!

I have little experience with Vista and so can not make suggestions.
Perhaps someone else will be able to make suggestions for you.
