Title: Avast was disabled during the upgrade Foxit PDF reader

This morning during the upgrade to the new version of Avast Foxit Reader has been disabled by presenting this error:

 Event Type: Information
 Event Source: Application Popup
 Event Category: None
 Event ID: 26
 Date: 21/07/2011
 Time: 8:41:06
 User: N / A
 Computer:  ;D
 Description:
 Application popup: AvastSvc.exe - Application Error: There was error exception unknown software exception (0xc0000417) in the position 0x7858ccb5.

 After clicking on now protect the system is activated by only

Is there any recent unpXXXXX.tmp file (with timestamp corresponding to this event) in the folder
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast\log
?

Yes, there are three from 114Mb files!

Can you please pack the most recent ones into an archive and upload it to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming (ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming)

No, it doesn't matter (well, it's better to make the filename somehow unique - e.g. include your nick into the name of the file).

Ok now I'm zipping and then I'll load in FTP, we will take a while because I have a 512kb upload

I'm afraid that dump is from May 27th, i.e. unrelated to the today's crash (and also from a previous version of avast!)... that's why I was asking about the timestamps ;)

You're right I was wrong to copy the file, now I'm zipping right one and we will mail immediately
