Post by: RV01 on November 20, 2004, 09:49:09 PM
I have Avast4.5 Home and I would like to ask it is compatible with All in one Secretmaker(which is a spam filter) and Sygate Personal Firewall.I don't know and I would like to ask before I install so that I can be sure.My OS is Milennium.I would also like if there is any program which will give me the opportunity to send faxes from my computer without using a fax machine Thanks a lot for any help

No problems with SPF.

Don't know that spam filter so, can't tell. But shouldn't be a problem.

Avast works fine on WinME as far as i know, and as long as you allow avast to access the internet to update there will be no problems with sygate firewall with avast.

Also i would suggest that you install avast before sygate, as there possibly could be a problem/conflict if it is done the other way around, this is the same with ant Anti-virus and firewall product, but is not definate, only a possibility.

RV01, avast should not conflict with the firewall as it's an antivirus.
With the spam killers, well configurated (email account settings and the numbers of the posts to be scanned) they will work togheter fine...

Fax machine? I suggest google it  ;)

About the fax:

If you have XP you already can do so.
