Title: re-download upgrade

I bought the anti-virus upgrade. Being a beginner, I did a system restore too far back and lost the upgrade, but still have the free anti-virus. Question: How do I re-download the upgrade? Thanks.      A rookie.

Try this:Avast Free-Maintenance-Registration-Upgrade-Insert Avast Pro/AIS file.

well...i guess you still have the mail with the license......or saved the license ?


since you did a sytem restore (something avast does not like) i recomend a reinstall

run avast removal tool from safe mode and reboot   http://www.avast.com/en-eu/uninstall-utility

then download and install  the program you upgraded to   http://www.avast.com/en-eu/free-antivirus-download
you may install it as trail version....when you have it up and running and updated, insert license

What version did you Upgrade to avast Pro or Avast Internet Security (AIS), select the relevant version:

avast Pro:  - http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_pro_antivirus_setup.exe (http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_pro_antivirus_setup.exe)
AIS:            - http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe (http://files.avast.com/iavs5x/avast_internet_security_setup.exe)
