Title: How to let Avast know that our Application is OK, and not malware?
Post by: vivarto on June 22, 2012, 08:41:20 PM
We are about to publish an application.
It will be distributed as application_setup.exe
and the installation will create application.exe on the disk.

How to register these files with Avast so that Avast (and perhaps other anti-virus software) don't think that this is malware?

Thank you in advance for your advice

First thing to do would be to scan it with Avast to see if it does not like anything about it..  Files are not whitelisted they are treated on content  ;D

Hope this helps
