Title: wireless modem /router

I have a wireless modem/router from my cell provider ( axess tel cdma 1xEV-DO REv a ) from a Cellcom. will the anti virus program, i have the free version, cause problems with connecting devices like a nook or kindle  I do not have problems with my pc but it is a wired ethernet connection

The simple answer is NO. :)
Avast free has no firewall it scans but doesn't block ports.
