Title: Can Avast Pro co-exist with Superantispyware Pro?
Post by: ecbritz on July 09, 2012, 01:53:11 PM
Can Avast Pro co-exist with Superantispyware Pro? The latter program finds spyware that Avast Pro does not find. But I would like to know if it is not undermining Avast in some way.

I rather suspect that these are tracking cookies (which aren't really a security issue) ?

Thanks, I'm happy with the answers. Superantispyware Pro finds "tracking adware" on my computer that Avast does not find. But it sounds from the answers as if "tracking adware" should not bother me.

Right.
But there's even an easier way. -> Set up your browser to delete all cookies when closing it. ;)

Also set your browser not to accept third party cookies, not from the site you are visiting right then.
