Title: avast throwing blue screens when playing the game grand chase
Post by: walker1980 on July 17, 2012, 04:07:09 PM
what in the world is going on here?

i was getting the blue screens before and pc would restart, i called the 866 no for total support(avast is suprisingly nice about helping out even with the free version) and did as the tech said. i added the ENTIRE SG interactive folder and all associated game files in one shot to the exceptions folder in file guard.

game was working flawlessly for a few days and now today its back to its old tricks.

this is my final hope with avast otherwise ill have to revert back to avira. id hate to do that because i know avast works with grand chase i even posted it in thier forums, and not to mention avira free does not include free web shields like avast.

please help.

geoff

Do you have any recent minidumps in C:\Windows\Minidump folder?
If so, please pack them into a uniquely-named archive and upload them to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming (ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming)
Thanks.
