Avast state that rooted phones are able to use GPS to get an accurate location when your phone is stolen. I have a rooted phone that has been stolen (and have enabled AUTOGPS) but when I click the location link the webpage says that the location is approximate and is based on Cell ID only (as shown below).
Can I check that the location is based on GPS and, assuming it is, to how many metres is it accurate? (I'm trying to get my phone back and the police are curious to how accurate the location data is).
Thanks.

you should track it a second time to maybe get a better location fix. if it is only based on cell ID we can not find out any approx.

AT will always use GPS if its available, as well as 3G/WiFi and celltowers to get an accurate location.
Try locate it again and see where it ends up.
