Greetings, I installed Avast 7.0 for Mac today and did an on demand scan. I stopped the scan mid-way because the screen was being filled up with "infections" from the Parallels VM I have installed. I scan that drive with MS Security Essentials and those scans are clean.
I added the entire Parallels folder containing the Windows 7 VM to the exclusions list, restarted the Mac and rescanned. Same result. Possibly the files are excluded only from realtime scanning. If so, how can I exclude them from on demand scans?
