Title: Stop Splash Screen?

Does anyone if there is a way to Stop the Splash Screen from showing when opening Start Avast! AntiVirus?

One option is to run ashSimpl.exe directly from avast! Antivirus installation folder.
Second option is like this:
Right-click on "a" ball next to the clock and select program Settings...
Under common section uncheck the "Test memory during application start-up".
With this option disabled avast! will open Simple Interface without splash screen.
But this will also couse avast! NOT to scan resident memory (RAM) before launching it's components. This is not good in case if some malware is still resident in memory.

Ok so then I guess I should not do that. Maybe Avast! could add an option to disable Splash Screen.

ok I see what you mean thanks! But I still say add an option to disable splash screen. I mean what is the point to having that show anyway?

And as long as you can see that splash screen,avast! is checking files in memory for known malware...
