Title: Help
Post by: midnight on August 20, 2012, 01:35:26 AM
I downloaded and installed Superantispyware and it messed my computer up. It won't open. I tried to do a system restore but was unable to.  I got a message saying something about a fatal error.   I did a boot scan on Avast but didn't show any problems so what can I do to fix this?

It was uninstalled successfully.

Thank you for your help.

Guess I'll not worry about not being able to do a system restore for now.

Yes, I do.  I use it to run a scan 2 or 3 times a day.

Any idea of why system restore won't work?

Also how do I set Avast back to the default settings?

If I do that I'll lose all of the programs I've downloaded and my pictures right?  Guess I already know the answer.
