I'm in the Solomon Islands and a colleague at at local training centre has computers infested with all sorts of nasties. Can I install Avast on his computers that are not connected to the internet, and what's the best way of doing it?
Thanks

you download it on a clean computer, save it on a USB stick or CD and move over
but i would start with some cleanig tools before installing avast
these can be run from USB stick and are not installed
DrWeb cure it http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/
Norman malware cleaner. http://www.norman.com/downloads/malware_cleaner/en-us
SAS portable. http://www.superantispyware.com/portablescanner.html
these are fully updated when you download them
