Title: JS:Blacole - AV Alert
Post by: bobng on August 28, 2012, 06:15:00 PM
I had this alert this morning from My Google home page. I ran a full virus detection; deleted the infected files. I went back to my Chrome homepage and another alert. I closed the page ran another full virus check; Nothing. I just did a restart but have not gone back to my home page. Anyone else having a problem with Google? Is there something else I need to do?

I don't know if this is correct for the Mac version for avast, but detections in windows for this JS:Blacole some of these detections have been corrected.

Ensure that you have the latest avast virus definitions as this detection has now been corrected.

Deletion isn't really a good first option (you have none left), 'first do no harm' don't delete, send virus to the chest (a protected area) and investigate.

Thanks you're right delete leaves no option. I have the latest version and updates. Hopefully I have it cleared and can go back to using Google again.
