Title: Could not connect to Google Cloud to Device Messaging
Post by: Poorang on August 31, 2012, 12:04:46 PM
I have registered in Avast, which there is no device listed in "List of Devices" section; And I use my Google account. But when I try to connect to my Avast Account from my Galaxy Mini2 I get this error: "Could not connect to Google Cloud to Device Messaging (ACCOUNT_MISSING). Please make sure that your Google account is set up correctly."

How should I set up my Google Account correctly?
Or any other suggestion?

we get the message "ACCOUNT_MISSING" from google. so this seems your google account on the phone is not set up correctly. does your google play store work?

Hi, I had the same Problem, but I was able to fix it.

Situation
- CyanogenMod 10 on a Galaxy S2
- Google account uses 2-Step verification
- Google Mail was syncing but not showing new emails
- Market had no problems
- but same error as posted above

My Fix
- Disconnected from Google-Account
- Reboot
- Connected again to Google-Account
- Connected to Avast
- anything works, including Mail and Avast

Note :
I forgot to test if it is enough to simply disable sync,
wait for a while and enable it again. However, it appeared to me that
the automatic sync must be enabled while you connect to the Avast Account,
so you might want to try this first.

Hey,

I was able to solve the problem by reinstalling the google apps.

1) Downloaded GAPPS zip fil.e
2) Flashed it via Clockwork Mod.
