Title: Hi I'm new............

Just downloaded Avast free on recommendation of quite a few people.
Am not quite familiar with the program yet,  and will probably need some help (even after reading the FAQ'S), but wanted to say hello for now.

Feel free to ask anything, someone is always around here, ready to help you... if someone doesn't know something, there will be always someone else who is more familiar with your issue... we work as a huge wonderful family !

Hi and Welcome to the forum birka1, we are always willing to help you with any difficulties here, so please ask if you have any questions, in addition to this, there is a built in help file in Avast, to get to this, open avast and then Press F1.

Thank you all for the warm welcome !!! I'll be busy reading help files and  trying to get familiar with this new to me software.  Which as I said came with the highest recommendation :) :)
