For the past 2 or 3 days I haven't gotten any of the green update popups. When I look at the Avast icon in my taskbar the popup is grayed out so I can't click on it. I didn't notice this until someone else posted the same problem. I had to manually last evening. It's showing my computer is fully secured. I ran a quick scan this am. and no threats were found.
Should I be concerned about this?
Thanks in advance for anyone's advice.

Might be good to post what program version you're running -- maybe the latest, 1466?
.

and what happens if you reboot ?

Repair avast!:
1. Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> avast!
2. Click on 'Repair'.
3. Follow instructions.
4. Reboot.

Did a repair, rebooted and immediately got the update popup message. The popup link or whatever it's called is no longer gray.
Thanks for your help.
