Are you sure it's avast related?
I think your upload speed is not as great as your download one.
Can you upload a file to an ftp site and check the speed?
I think this is not avast related...
2) avast duplicates my tasks
look "VELOCISSIMO"
Can't you delete one of them?
I have this in the past but with the screen saver task... Some time later, an update corrected it.

Check if you have database set to ODBC. Recently, I have experienced similar problems (I mean the "task duplication") when the database is set to XML, which is not a good idea for avast! Professional.

but for the outgoing mails, why does avast slow down my system?
for inconming no problems!!

How much does it slow down the system?
Do you have any other mail-scanning software (e.g. spam-filter) installed?
Are you sure the incoming e-mails are scanned? (i.e. are they marked by avast! in the headers - or do you see them in the "Last scanned" item of the On-Access Scanner window?)
