Post by: MWassef on September 07, 2003, 05:04:10 PM
Avast4 HE found this virus "Win32:Trojan-gen. {VC}" in one of the games I have. When I scanned the folder with NOD32 v.2, it found nothing  ???
Is it a false positive?
Also is Avast4 HE is set -by default to scan all file types? if not how do I configure the program to do it?  ???

thanx in advance

Try to use this link: http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk.html (http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk.html). If no virus is detected, send it to virus@avast.com with false positive subject; otherwise, use google to find removal instruction. Thanks.

What´s the name of the game and do you use a "trainer/patch"  for it? So in which file is it reported?
