Hi guys, i have this virus Win32:Trojan-gen{UPX!} on our family computer system - supposedly it affects the main Win.com file - can someone tell me what to do to get rid of it - as Avast is not able to deal with this file as it is in use. What do i do to get rid of this nasty piece of work?

You can start Windows in safe mode and start Avast, than it should be able to delete it. To give you more information on what the Trojan does, you have to identify it more exact. You can use this link to do so: http://www.kaspersky.com/remoteviruschk.html

Hey! thanks for your help its a cool thing to do in helping others something i spend time doing myself. I will check out your tip and hope it works and goes smoothly as our system here crashes almost every time we use our system.
Thanks very much!
