Title: All Devices Stopped Reporting to AVAST Account - CRITICAL

I have 8 client computers connected to my AVAST account. Recently I noticed that all of them stopped reporting its status except the one I am using personally. Is it an upgrade issue? Mine is still reporting as 'SECURED' and it's upgraded to the last version namely 7.0.1473. The rest of computers are all 'Security Status: Off' and lost communication days ago. They are all 7.0.1466 and haven't been upgraded to 7.0.1473 yet. But all are working fine & are connected to the internet. So what's the problem? Is it widespread? I think it's of a critical nature to get it answered.

And now all devices went to 'Security Status: Unsecured'. What's going on? I think you've got issues to resolve, dear AVAST.

Confirmed here too, all status shows unsecured.

I think avast is now updating accounts server and this issue would be temporal.
Just wait and see, even account page shows wrong information your avast itself will not be affected.

Yeah, I see the same.
Lasted all of yesterday and still "Unsecured" today.
The devices themselves seem fine, as far as I can tell.

should be fixed now, please check it with your my.avast account. It was an server side (db) problem

Changed, but not fixed for me.
All P/C's now have "Security Status: Off" instead on "Unsecured" as before.
But my Android phone now looks OK.

As of 27.10.2012 it's not fixed yet. It could be a db problem at some time but it's not working for all versions of AVAST yet.

It is working for all clients with AVAST 7.0.1473.
Is is not working for my clients who have not upgraded to the latest release and are using 7.0.1466. They show as 'Security Status: Off' and 'Last Communication' is still days ago.

PLEASE BEWARE that AVAST is installed with asking clients if they want to upgrade. Program will not upgrade automatically as it does with virus definitions. I cannot ask all my clients to manually upgrade so I can observe their AVAST status though my AVAST account.

Please, return things to normal as they used to be. Shall we have the same problem on and on after every program release?
AVAST account is unreliable at this point!

Not fixed as of 28.10.2012
Currently all devices are 'Security Status: Unsecured' independently of the version (I am observing 7.0.1473 & 7.0.1466 only).

Not fixed for me either. All 10 devices "Unsecured", Unknown OS, no communication.
7.0.1426, 7.0.1466, 7.0.1473 - it makes no difference.

Latest versions of Avast! used on all my systems, and everything from my Windows 8 Pro With Media Center Pack laptop, to my Android 2.3.6 smartphone are all reporting as offline/unsecured/unknown.

It's the server and "not" your anti-virus. When I open the avast GUI it says I'm secured. The software is working as it should.
The "my avast" account does not affect how you are protected. It's the software on your computer that really matters.  :)

All the computers connected to my account were OFF until I did a manual "Update Program" on each one. I assume this was so Avast could attempt to sell me an upgrade before the download, and download Chrome and make it my default browser on the reboot.   >:(  -JW

Mine's partially coherent now.
There are 4 entries for one PC, 3 under one name, 2 of which are "SECURED" and the other is "OFF", and 1 under a different name, also "OFF".
One machine with AIS at my workplace is "SECURED" but the other eleven are all reportedly "OFF" despite the fact that I'm looking at 3 of them right now.  :o

Its seems that only avast installations with version 1473 are updating its status for the "my avast" website.
The version 1466 is not updating the status at all.

NOT FIXED as of 30.10.2012 or Security Status: Off
AVAST 7.0.1466 is not updating its status through my avast account. (Cannot confirm for lower versions.)
AVAST 7.0.1473 is working fine today.

I've lost communication with my clients' AVAST program 7 days ago!


Awful user experience so far. Perhaps you shouldn't have run AVAST accounts in the first place.

Since posting this yesterday I've ugraded 2 of the "OFF" eleven to 7.0.1473. Sadly, no change in account page.

ok, bug confirmed and we are working on the fix. It should be released soon in a vps update. This "device not connected" issue affects only clients older than 7.0.1473

Once it's fixed the clients will start to report back to portal again. They are connected but not "reporting" therefore the portal treats them as "offline".

Hi, lukas.hasik! What do you mean by 'vps'? Anyway, thank you for your work. Hope AVAST team can fix it.

NOT FIXED as of 01.11.2012.
AVAST 7.0.1466 is Security Status: Off.
AVAST 7.0.1473 is working fine.
AVAST 7.0.1474 is working fine.

Hello!

VPS is the virus definition file that are released daily to update avast. It also has other information/settings that can be changed by these vps files.

The latest VPS (20121101) seems to correct the problem of old versions (1466 and older) not update their status to my avast website.

I have 14 devices with avast installed, 2 with 1473 that were working fine, 2 androids that were working fine and 10 with 1466. From these 10 instalations with 1466, 3 received the lastest vps and started to update the my avast website with their informations.

It seems to be everything ok now!

I can confirm that AVAST 7.0.1466 with definitions version 121101-0 updates its status now.

Hellooo..... I am new to this and I really don't know computer talk but i do know that my Avast is still not working!!!  >:(
I have happening the same as everybody else and mine is still not working this morning!!
When i click on FIX NOW nothing happens...I don't know what to do, can someone pleeeeeeease help me!!!  :-[
