Since this new version went into effect, the Outlook 2010 add-in causes the POP3 retrieval of incoming email to fail - have todisable add-in. In my opinion this is very poor quality testing to send out something with an obvious bug in it.

Strange... My MS Outlook 2010 is working very well with latest avast!
Did you try an installation from scratch?

Avast automatically updated to 7.0.1474 and one should not have to do a install from scratch - it was working fine before that on previous versions! Fix the product!

I am on version 7.0.1474 - and updated from 7.0.1466 - THIS HAS NOW BEEN RESOLVED! ISP had changed some settings. Now corrected!
