Many streaming sites, especially those concerned with markets, aren't strictly following HTTP protocols and the web shield is expecting HTTP protocol anything else and it may baulk. So I would suggest that you have the Web Shield ignore that IP Address

Redirects Ignored addresses: - In the avastUI, Settings, Troubleshooting, Redirect Settings, WEB, Ignored addresses: and enter the IP address of the ticker site.

I tried that and it didn't work.  The web site has been working for 2 years until last week.

Well if you have entered the correct IP address (in the field indicated in my image) for the site then the web shield shouldn't be filtering/monitoring that traffic.

If I visit, quotespeed.morningstar.com, I get 216.228.225.186 as the IP address, but that I guess is the front door, I don't know if that changes when you login ?

If you have entered the correct IP address, then try Stopping the Web Shield for 10 minutes and try to logon to the site and connect. Does that work ?
I suspect that this won't make any difference if you entered the correct IP address.

What OS and browser are you using ?
What version of avast are you using free/pro/ais and what build number (7.0.1474 being the latest) ?

I am using Chrome and Explorer. Windows 7 64 bit
Free version of avast 7.0.1474

If I turn off Avast and log in to the web site, everything works
