Title: Can the Icon be Changed When Avast is Updating?

The orange icon is nice and spins when scanning. But, could it be changed when an update is happening? I have a slower laptop and perhaps if it had a black "U" on it while updating, that would be nice to see because the machine slows down. Changing the "a" to a black capital "U" during the update process would be perfect! Thx.

why are you joking ??? I have never seen animated tray icon while updating, ist this s new feature in Avast?

anyway, it will be great if there is an amination of the tray icon whlie updating, many other AV have it.
It there a chance for Avast?

I'd like to see that as well. When my laptop starts or comes out of standby, there is a lot of internet activity and I'd feel better if I knew right away it's due to the avast updating and not something else.

I think animation in the tray icon will be great and simple and usefull feature for Avast.
What do the mods and devs think about this ?

+1 At least a little "glow".  :)
