Title: Avast cannot be updated

Hi,

New to the board and I'm having an issue with my avast...I cannot uninstall it nor can I update it from free to my paid edition

below is the error message I keep receiving when attempting to update or uninstall

"error reading product data from C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast5\setup\part-setup_ais-509.vpx setup cannot continue"

is anyone able to assist with this??

- Which avast!..?? (Free/Pro/IS)
- Which version..??
- OS..?? (32/64 Bit..? - which SP..?)
- Other security related software installed..??
