HI Essexboy I was wondering if I could ask you a question I scanned with Spybot Search and Destroy I only use it scan with I did the Default mode and I got some stuff when the scan was done it is all in the file it is in a text file one thing I was wondering about though Essexboy was Microsoft.window.security.Internet.Explorer when I pushed the minus sighn and it dropped it showed that their was a Registry change. I was just wondering is this something to worry about Essexboy with Internet Explorer I was just wondering if you new what this means and if you now what I can do to fix this problem.

Like CharleyO all I see are tracking cookies. Nothing to worry about. Tracking cookies are nothing more than tiny text files that are "not" executable. They can be safely deleted. The general consensus here is that SpyBot isn't very good. I would suggest sticking with avast, MalwareBytes and Super Anti-Spyware. Spyware Blaster is also a good addition. Set your browser to not accept third party cookies. Chrome has Vanilla Cookie Manager. Basically dump SpyBot asap. :)

Tracking cookies track your web activity. The infomation can be gathered. They are an invasion of privacy. Once the informatin is gathered it can be used by other software to bombard you with spam, social engineer you to phishing sites etc. Tracking cookies should be blocked and those that are not should be deleted at the end of the day or whenver you close your browser.
People don't use tracking cookies just to conduct polls. Tracking cookies are used to gather information about your Net activity and can later be used against you in a way that you did not approve of beforehand and to harm your computer and you.
They are something to worry about unless you don't care about your privacy, getting bomarded with spam, socially engineered to malware infested urls and trojans.

Sorry but tracking cookies are a minor pain and some anti-spyware make a real big deal about them, in much the same way that you have in the bold coloured text. In any anti-spyware that I have ever had if it has a tracking cookie option, I have always switched it off, it is a waste of time, effort and anxiety.
In order for a cookie to track you, you actually have to allow it to do so, more by ignorance than anything else. Tracking cookies (I hate calling them tracking anything, as it gives some sort of intelligence to them) are essentially 3rd party cookies, in order for them to record on the cookie your activity at other sites.
If you disallow 3rd party cookies in your browser (why this isn't a default setting is beyond me) so the only cookie which can be used/recorded are those of the site you are visiting. This puts a crimp in so called tracking cookies.
You might also consider only using/allowing session cookies and or clearing cookies when you close your browser, this removes any such data gathering activity. I use CookieMonster to manage cookies and that allows only sites you permit to set a cookie (and only fir that site).
