Title: Can't update or uninstall

When I do, I get an error to this effect:

Error reading product data from C:\program files\alwil software\avast5\setup\part-setup_ais-509.vpx. Setup cannot continue.  Can't update virus definitions or uninstall.  Not sure how to fix.  Any ideas?  Tried installing definitions manually, get the same error.

do you have any other security programs installed?


read and follow instructions.  http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
