Title: Generic host process problem !!!

I have a big problem with the firewall of avast when i want to download my Counter strike Source by steam the download begin then few minutes left ... my connection go down because generic host process bugged and then no program on internet works PLZ HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

1] Avast doesn't have a firewall.
2] You really have to provide more details.
Like:
What OS?
What exact version Avast?
If you get an error which one?
etc etc etc.

The problem is an error report of the OS windows XP like when explorer.exe is bugged i don't know why it's bugged when Steam download my counter strike source it works a few moment and then bugging !!! reboot obligatory !!!! why ?????!!!!!!!!  ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? (the version of avast is avast!4)

(is it good ?)

Right click the blue ball with the "A" in it near the clock.
Choose about and look at what version of Avast you have.
It should look like 4.x.xxx

And please do not use so much smileys. It is not need and a bit anoying.

What do you mean by bugged, try to provide as much info as possible, it will help.
Do you have a firewall (not avast), if so what is it?

I have only avast stop the generic host process bug ...

(i'm not english so i'm not really good in english !!  :-X)
