Title: system has been updated pop up message
Post by: guestja on February 24, 2005, 01:01:36 AM
Hi,
I  believe there is a  way to disable the pop up you get after an  update, or decrease the time it displays, but I have been doing searches and I cannot seem to find it. Does anyone recall where to find that? Thanks in advance.

Use RejZoR's avast! External Control program (AEC)
You can get it at: http://www.excessive-software.tk/
Run it and then follow the instuction on the included picture

Thanks Bob, but wasn't there a way you could edit the ini. file?  I was wondering if I could just reduce the time it shows on the screen.

The time delay is 4 sec by default as explained by Vlk in another thread, that or not displayed. He mentioned they may consider it for a future parameter addition to avast4.ini editing.
