Title: search.certified-toolbar.com
Post by: vservou on February 16, 2013, 11:52:42 AM
Hello everybody!
I got the virus search.certifed-toolbar.com and I read a lot of postings in forums and I saw that people cannot get rid of it. I applied one method, I uninstalled mozilla and crome and reinstalled them. As far as interner explorer is concerned I moved to the shortcut tab and I changed the url for the startup target to: c:\Program Files(x86)Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
It does not appear now on my browsers. Could you tell me please if it is certain that i got rid of it? What else could I do?
I have avast free and the ravinfree11 antivirus.
Thank you for your time.

AdwCleaner   will remove browser/toolbar crap
Malwarebytes quick scan    will remove additional malware if any
