Title: Exchange Server Shield and Anti-Spam
Post by: j.phillips on February 18, 2013, 08:10:29 PM
The configuration options available under the Exchange Server Shield and Anti-Spam shield look very basic.  Will there be an additional console on the machine to adjust extra settings if we install it?   Is there a resource available for me to check out how the server shield works once installed?

I did read through the user guide in the sticky and I think I have the answers I needed.

There is no Exchange nor Antispam included in the EPS version for the Educational Products

Che,

Thanks for the reply.  Why are their options listed for the agent for Exchange and Sharepoint?  These seem to indicate server level scanning abilities.

Well the EPS includes Sharepoint but the EPSP or the Endpoint Protection Suite Plus includes both the File System/Exchange Server Security along with AntiSpam.

There may be in the future be some availability to upgrade to this product but for now the EPS is the only product that is provided for the EDU.

The Exchange sits on the Exchange Server and you would need to check the registry of the Exchange Server and the Anti-Spam sits as an Add-On to say Outlook.  Your more than welcome to have a look on the EPSP user manual to read more about this.

Kind Regards
