Title: Yesterday's upgrade caused havock
Post by: The Parson on March 02, 2013, 03:52:54 PM
I love your program. I've never felt safer since I started using it. But yesterday when the program updated to your newest version, AutoCAD 14 and Chief Architect 8 became it's worst enemy. I set the exclusions so that Avast wouldn't say the executable's are infected but now Windows 7 will not allow them to execute. Help!!! I teach drafting online and this has literally put me out of business...

Could you report the falsely flagged executables to virus AT avast DOT com via email as a false positive please.

A warm Welcome to the forums  :)

Never mind. I rolled back the computer to before the upgrade. All is well in computer land and the CAD programs are working as they did before. Thank God for System Restore!!!
