Title: to install a new program on a computer running avast
Post by: JTrahair on March 10, 2013, 05:25:46 PM
Hi I have developed a new invoicing program for a customer who uses Avast v.7.0.1747, but avast won't let us download the setup.exe and install the new software. What steps must I take to allow this to happen?

I am doing this remotely using join.me, with someone at the customer's computer to allow whatever has to be allowed.

Thank you.

Is the file being blocked by webshield or is autosandbox catching it

Alternatively as I assume you know it is safe then disable Avast shields for the duration of the installation
Right click the avast icon and select shield control

Sandbox was asking for a response, and I didn't see anything about webshield.

OK if sandbox is asking for a response then select run normally
