So this what just happen in my Avast 8.0 when I restoring my system using system restore...
I can't explain with text, but just see my video here :) :) :)
Sorry If I'm doing wrong...
But this video, I'm using a mode instead of broadband connection to connect to the internet, but it doesn't really matter...

I don't know what may have caused you to receive the Pro version unless when registering you clicked on the wrong tab instead of stay with the free version.
Looks like you managed to fix the problem eventually, I did find your commentary very amusing though ;D

Yeah, that's kind of weird...
but I have no Idea, I never want to upgrade to pro because I have no money

It is definitely not a selling/sales action by avast, the notification of the new version 8.0.1455 is quite obviously a bug and maybe part of the same problem that upgrades you to the Pro version :-\

If this is a bug it should be fixed immediately.
At the end it leaves users without protection.
Not all users know how to reinstall Avast.
This bug is big as a house.Fix it.
