Title: Attack Warnings
Post by: chris18 on March 05, 2005, 04:38:30 PM
A friend of mine has just installed Avast on my recommendation.

He is getting numerous yellow warnings about attacks flashing just about the taskbar.

This doesn't happen on my machine so can someone explain why they are happening and if there is anything he can do to stop them.

Thanks

Tell him to make himself familiar with Avast and the settings it is offering the user.
Things like this are explained in the help file as well as many times on this board.

Just disable "show detailed information about perfemed action".

Sorry, should have thought about checking posts but I was in a hurry.

As a fairly new user myself I'm still trying to find my way around avast! and I wasn't able to help him.
