Title: How do I select and delete multiple infected files?

Hi,

I dumped Sophos for no antivirus (it crashed on Mountain Lion), then I later tried Avast (7.0 - 38501). After 19 hours of scanning, I have 1532 infections. How do I selectively delete or clean multiple infected files without selecting a single file, pressing delete, entering my system password, then doing it again and again and again?
