I know there are versions of ashcmd in paid versions of Avast, but I have a request: could there be a version of ashcmd in the free versions as well?
I don't have any problems if the ashcmd is dumbed down in the free version, but please provide some kind of command line interface.
Thanks,

If everything were included in the free version, then there wouldn't be any need for a paid version.
Without a paid version, there would also probably not be an Avast.
You you want a paid feature, you'll need to pay for it or find an alternative.

As I said, I have no problems if ashcmd is dumbed down.
There are many ways to dumb it down -- providing a very minimum subset of features, no support for scanning directories, maybe supporting scanning only *one* file per call of ashcmd etc. etc.
