Title: Issues with Latest Avast Ver 8....

Recently, the owner of my 1-year subscription to Avast downloaded an update for the latest version of the software. It reverted her security back to the Trial but our subscription does not end until July this year. She has called and spoken to a few people over the phone but none were able to provide ample assistance. I'm not sure what else to do. I read that people are having an opposite problem where when they upgrade to the latest version, their free software becomes a trial. But we have a subscription.

What was the original version of avast! that she was using and paid for (Pro, Internet Security, etc.)??

What version of avast! does she now have on her PC in trial mode???

When she "downloaded an update" she may have clicked the button to trial the next level of avast! that is generally offered during an update.  If she did then there should be a button that she can click to revert back to her original version in the Maintenance screen.

Has she reinserted the original licence again :?
