Title: Is the overall protection of Avast less with streaming updates up then down?

Streaming updates are up then down.  Some posters on here and other security oriented message forums are suggesting that File Rep and Evo_gen are less with streaming cutting in and out.

Someone from Avast please confirm if protection from Avast's protection is jeopardized or not from this?
