Title: Stopping Software Updater

The only thing I don't like about the new avast! update is the Software Updater.  So I went into the Software Updater Settings and unchecked everything.  Thing is, it still looks for updates and gives me a notification that I need to update some of my software.

Is there ANYWAY to stop it from looking for updates, or even stop it from notifying me about them without turning off notifications for other things?

Go to uninstall programs and click on avast then uninstall, once you receive the popup screen choose change and untick the features you no longer want.
