Title: Avast Tech Support
Post by: VitaChick on April 22, 2013, 11:20:46 AM
Had purchased Avast Premier which was not compatible with my Win XP. Also purchased Avast Total Support thinking it was
online computer help. Well it isn't.  They only help with Avast problems. And they will not give the money back. 169.99

Do not purchase this...Rip-off!!!!!

That's what I thought.  Your posts should be considered SPAM, and removed from the forum.

I take the time to read a whole thread.  Do you have a reading problem?

hey what i get in his thread he has link is that he have trouble with the firewall.

and he have tried the usually things we recommend here. do a clean installation but still got trouble.

you should have stuck to your first post rather then create a new on.

sens you have created a new thread, are you running windows 8 now or you using another op?

have you disable the MSE in windows 8 before you installed avast?

This sounds like you have contacted 3rd party support (this is NOT avast) on the free telephone support (?) and they have sold you a support package, something which I think is very dubious hard sell.

- Report this unacceptable behaviour, which should come under the terms of the free avast support:
Third-party Support Manager, Vojta (nekvapil (at) avast (dot) com) has requested info about 3rd party support issues, so if you have time to recount your experience (copy and paste your post give the link to this topic, etc.), and see the post below.

If you can give more details on what the compatibility problems are then we can try and help.

Where have you sought a refund and for what, this support package and avast Premier version ?

@ Johnny4745
Please don't hijack VitaChick's topic as VitaChick hasn't provided any detailed information on what the problem is, so you don't know if it is even related to the link you posted.

The OP is using a different OS and is using a different avast program, so we don't know if this is a related problem or not.

I didn't Hijack anything.  She wasn't asking for help, she was making a statement.

I was trying to get help for another Avast user, that was having a problem, and was almost totally ignored.

Statement or not, it is still hijacking the topic you completely diverted it away from what was said.
