Title: avast on-access scanner message

how do I turn it off?  I don't want to turn off the program.. just the annoying messages that come off the task bar each time I surf to a new page.

Turn off the "Show detailed info on performed action"  option - in your case, it would be the Web Shield provider (I guess).

thanks   :)  I had been through a lot of the options.. missed that one.
