Need to revert my Avast Pro Anti-Virus back to Version 8.0.1483.
Could someone please provide me with the link for this version.

I don't know where you can get older pro versions, once you add the license they'll become Pro anyway but I don't know if it will remain the older version that your wanting to keep ???

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll be staying on this version (8.0.1483).
It seems the more stuff added in each version, the more incompatible this software appears to be. :-\
Why this version works for me on Win 8 and V.8.0,1488 doesn't is beyond me.
Very tiring, very time consuming. :(

You're not the only person who been sh#tting the fan with v8.0.1488 on W8 64bit problem because this looks very embarrassing on Avast, most people are having problem on W7 & W8 32/64bit I guess Avast didn't have enough beta testing for W8 64bit user (maybe) to give them enough dump file for different computers. Some people seem to be okay running v8.0.1488 on W7 & W8 32/64bit which is bloody strange, some are lucky and some are not so lucky beside thank goodness I didn't bash my new laptop if I haven't lost my temper :-[ :-\

It's just gotten to the point that I don't know what to say.
