Title: Serif PagePlus 5 - false positive?
Post by: RAH on May 07, 2013, 07:43:09 PM
I am getting the same report of trojan msil:crypt-nb[trj] as reported in the thread today:

I suppose I could have picked up a trojan, but it seems odd to me that others are reporting the same thing today. PagePlus is a program I've been running for several years with no problems till now.

Hei RAH,

It seems to be a Avast update problem!

Thanks, Silverfox. I hope they fix this problem soon, although there might be a work-around mentioned in one of these many "false positive" reports from today.

Just want to report that this problem has been solved by an update that Avast did over night, as others have reported for other software that got the false positive. I was able to restore PagePlus via the Avast control panel and it runs OK again.
