Title: AIS uninstall - avast adblock left behind

My 2 year AIS subscription just expired, and I decided not to renew*.

I uninstalled AIS using add/remove programs and then aswclear in safe mode.

Avast adblocker is a separate program, and it is still there in IE10, and still working. I could uninstall it, but it's useful.

Am I free to keep this, and will it ever update?

*I mainly run linux + apparmor these days. I've kept windows installed though, and I'm giving it a chance to look after itself for a while with MSE + EMET. Time will tell if that is wise.

Ignore - I got adblocking working in IE10 through tracking protection lists, so can now uninstall the avast adblocker.
